2021 ACADEMIC YEAR & 2020/2021 FINANCIAL YEAR – BURSARIES, INTERNSHIPS, GRADUATE PLACEMENT, ARTISAN DEVELOPMENT PLACEMENTS.
The following organisations are invited to apply:
- Public TVET’s Colleges, approved by any SETA to host apprenticeship training for the listed trades
- Workplace Approved Employers by any SETA to host apprenticeship training for the listed trades

All application shall be limited to only Scarce and Critical skills and Prioritv programmes listed in this advertisement.
The Business Lab invites all levy paying employers, Commodity Organizations, Universities, TVET’s, Agricultural Colleges, NGO’s, CBO’s, Community Based Co-operatives, and Small BEE firms to submit their applications.
A valid South African Revenue Service (SARS) VAT Certificate whould accompany contracts during submission of documents. No contracts shall be accepted unless a valid tax certificate is provide. Failure to submit a valid tax certificate shall jeopardise your approval and funds shall be re- allocated.

GUIDELINES
- Applications are open from 01 August 2020 to 15 September
- Applicants will be informed of the outcomes between 11 November 2020 to 13 December 2020.
- Only online and e-mail applications system shall be used to avoid loss of documents and to promote a paperless environment.
- OnIy online and e-mail DULY completed applications forms with relevant supporting documents shall be considered for evaluation.
- OnIy employers in the agricultural sector can apply for employed and unemployed
- No walk-in and hand delivered applications shall be allowed
- No late application will be accepted/considered.
- Priority shall be given to Scarce and Critical skills / Occupations in high demand in the agricultural sector.
BURSARIES
- Please note that only agricultural related qualifications shall be supported for unemployed learners while ONLY levy paying companies can apply for other qualifications supporting their enterprises.
- Funding to employed learners should be limited to their actual expenses related to the learning programme.
- No funding shall be provided to students who receive funding from other Government sources. e.g.
- Learners who have been funded the previous year and would like to continue with the same qualification, are supposed to re-apply (Continuations).
INTERNSHIPS/GRADUATE PLACEMENT
- Funding for Internships shall only be for learners who require practical exposure in order to obtain a qualification in ag
- Funding for Graduate Placement shall onIy be for learners who and have qualifications and require workplace experience in order to increase their chances of employment
ARTISAN DEVELOPMENT
- Employers who would like to apply for learners who will like to enroll for trades
