On Thursday 12 April 2018, Eskilz College reached a milestone in obtaining accreditation with the Quality Council for Trades & Occupations (QCTO).

QCTO Is a council that oversees the design, implementation, assessment and certification of occupational qualifications, including trades, on the Occupational Qualifications Sub-Framework

This historic development now gives Eskilz College the leverage to undertake and offer the following occupational qualification:

  • 94022 Occupational Certificate: Carpenter

These courses will enable the incumbent, the opportunity of qualifying in a career path in the Carpentry, with an NQF leve 4 qualification consisting of 360 credits.

A qualified learner will be able to:

  • Determine materials, dimensions required and setting out and preparing a work area on a construction site.
  • Construct, erect, install and maintain structures on work area and building sites.
  • Fit, assemble and alter internal and external fixtures of buildings such as walls, doors, window frames, fascia boards and panelling.
